U.S. Cellular Unveils its Very First LTE 4G Smartphone

U.S. Cellular has now come out with its very first LTE 4G smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S Avaitor. This wonderful new handheld sports a stylish and slim form factor and is basically an Android 2.3.6 or Gingerbread-powered smartphone, which comes with a whole host of features and functionalities. U.S. Cellular has announced that this device is now immediately available for sale.



The main features of the Samsung Galaxy S Aviator include a 4.3-inch WVGA SAMOLED touchscreen display, which gives you sharp images even under direct sunlight; an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash; front-facing webcam; WiFi support and HDMI port.

Comprising 1.4GB of internal memory and pre-loaded with several useful Android apps, this phone also gives you instant access to all the apps featuring in the Google Play Store. 

Meant for entertainment purposes as well, the Galaxy S Aviator enables you to download your fave movies and TV shows from the Samsung Media Hub and also enjoy chat while on the go. 

The Galaxy S Aviator is priced at $199.99 after a mail-in rebate of $100. Please note that this offer is on for a limited time only. Users who reside in the areas covered by the U.S. Cellular LTE 4G network will be able to get this phone at a mere $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. These areas currently include certain select cities in Maine, Iowa, North Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma and Wisconsin.
