2014 BMW M3

The 2014 BMW M3 will be a monster, there is no denying that, however what will the German manufacturer do to keep emissions low but power high? Well the trend lately has been to build smaller capacity engines but turbo charge the hell out of them. So with the 2014 M3 it has been suggested that BMW will incorporate a V6 twin turbo.

The reason for the V6 is that it is easier to pack under the bonnet, however I would not eliminate the traditional straight 6 from making an appearance. This is a formula which has worked for BMW over the years and creates a very refined and balanced package, just look at the 335i for example or the old BMW M3 e46 for example.

Regardless, BMW sets the bar high and im sure the new M3 will be just as crisp and responsive as ever.
