Samsung
Galaxy Tab 2 has the same 7-inch form factor as that of the Kindle Fire- whose
success Samsung intends to emulate with the $250 offering having more features
like rear and front cameras, expandable memory and a complete Android
experience.
Difference
from Kindle Fire
The
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is not ready to let go of the low-end slate market.
Moreover, it emerges as a low cost Android tablet with few limitations, as
opposed to the Kindle Fire or Barnes & Noble Nook. The $199 Kindle Fire
gadgets have been selling like hot cakes. However, something makes you against
the slate- the full version of Android store is not accessible except the
Amazon AppStore, memory of 8 GB is not expandable, and there are no dual
cameras. The important thing about the Fire is that whatever little it does it
gives the best at such a small price.
What
to Expect
The
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 has remarkably few limitations- this Android 4.0 tablet
has two cameras, GPS navigation, and dual core processor and can even run third
party apps from Google Play. Will the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.7.0 provide the full
experience satisfactorily? We will know it after April 22.
