In wet conditions today Rossi unbelievably managed to secure a podium
position in France. Not only did he manage to secure a podium position, but he
overtook Casey Stoner and his fearsome Honda during the final lap to finish in
second place. Stoner finished 3rd. Stoner was reluctant to let the position go
but Rossi was much quicker on the day. The star of the day however was Jorge
Lorenzo who overtook both Honda’s in one corner during the start and sped off
into the distance.
Although the conditions suit the Ducati, this is a much needed confidence
boost for the Italian team. However Lorenzo and Stoner will still take some
beating this season.
At least everyone knows the Ducati can perform when it wants to so lets all
shut up and give credit where it is due, well done Jorge Lorenzo.
